First Aid at Work (Requalification)
What are the requirements for requalification?
This 2-day First Aid at Work course is designed for those who currently hold a First Aid at Work qualification that is due to expire.
A first aider can renew their First Aid at Work qualification by attending a 2-day requalification course without question, if it's within 1 month past the expiry date.
If the first aider has lapsed by more than 1 month, but no longer than 3 months, then the first aider can requalify by attending a 2-day course providing 'Special considerations' have been applied.
What will be covered?
A range of subjects are covered, including:
- Legalities, responsibilities and reporting
- Diabetes
- Heart attacks
- Shock (including Anaphylaxis)
- Dealing with an unresponsive casualty
- Asthma
- Eye injuries
- Head injuries
- Fractures and spinal injuries
- Poisoning
- Choking
- Sprains and strains
- Control of bleeding
- Stroke
- Chest injuries
- Burns
- Assessment of the situation
- Epilepsy
- Bandaging
- Resuscitation
How will Inspire First Training deliver the course?
We can provide your facilitated session on-site at your premises, giving you flexibility, or alteratively at our preferred venue.
This course is typically delivered over 12 hours (2 days).

Who is the awarding body?
This qualification is regulated in the UK and awarded by First Aid Awards (FAA).
